What Is This?

This is the preview website for my book project, entitled V Equals I R: A Tour Guide of Electricity. It contains the introduction, first chapter, and outline for the remainder of the book. While the book is still a work-in-progress, I hope eventually to get it published.

Who Is It For?

My aim in writing this work is to educate people about the phenomenon we call electricity. Electricity is ubiquituous in our lives, yet it remains mysterious to many of us, and misonceptions about its nature and behaviour are rife. My target audience is anyone who is curious about electricity and has at least a high-school understanding of physics and mathematics. I have tried to include clear explanations, detailed examples, and interesting real-world applications for each concept.

Who Are You?

I am a young electrical engineer living in Sydney, Australia. I love reading and learning about the world, so I decided to combine those two passions in this hobby project.
